Stella Brink, 84

Stella A. Brink was born May 25, 1916 to Frank and Nellie Dusek in Hennepin County, Minneapolis, MN. She was raised in the Catholic faith and attended school in Minneapolis. Employment followed at the Medical Arts Building in Minneapolis where she met her husband.

On June 15, 1940, she and Joseph R. Brink were married in Minneapolis. The couple moved to California for 5 years, before returning to Minneapolis, residing there until June 28, 2000 when she became a resident of the Tracy Nursing Home in Tracy, MN. Following a short illness, she died there on September 26, 2000 at the age of 84.

Stella was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minneapolis. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and being a homemaker.

Her survivors include her son, Richard J. Brink and his wife, Liane of Walnut Grove, MN; granddaughter Christine Brink, Lakewood, CO; grandson John Brink, Madison Lake, MN; and sister-in-law, Lydia Dusek, Minnetonka, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, and brother Jack.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Francis Neisen, 83

A private family service was held on Tuesday, October 3, 2000 for Francis Neisen, 83 at Holy Redeemer Church in Marshall, MN.

Francis Peter Neisen was born on June 1, 1917 in Henderson, MN. He was the son of Matthias and Ida Buesgend Neisen. As a boy the family moved to Marshall. He was a 1935 graduate of Marshall High School and the University of Minnesota.

He married Amy Nicholson in Marshall on Feb. 14, 1939. He served in the Army during WWII. He returned to work with the family business, Perfection Ice Cream and later Terrace Park Dairy.

Pete enjoyed hunting, playing card and traveling.

Francis passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy, MN.

He is survived by sons Tom (Marie) of Norwood, CO, Richard of Florence, CO, Mark (JoAnn) of Sandy, UT, Doug (Laura) of Parker, CO; daughters, Susan Neisen CSJ of St. Paul, Mary (John) Mills of Oakdale, MN; Therese (Charles) Van Nevel of Garvin; sister, Marcella White of Minneota and brother Donald of Marshall; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Amy in 1988, son Steven in 1995 and sisters Loretta Neisen and Bernice Sutor.

Rehkamp Funeral Home of Marshall was in charge of arrangements.

William Kluevein, 53

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 27, 2000 for William Kluevein at the Woodlake Lutheran Church in Richfield, MN. Rev. Diane Roth and Rev. Paul Romstad officiated. Joseph Reed was a soloist with Tom Ohnesorge as organist.

Casket bearers were Steve Ketz, Bob Moore, Dan Fischer, Dave Nygaard, Don Fischer and Don Fimreite.

William Lee Kluevein was born in Santa Barbara, CA to Arthur and Hazel Kluevein. From there he moved to Tracy, MN. There he attended and graduated from high school.

On June 10, 1966, Bill was married to Carol K. Fischer. From their love they produced two daughter, Deborah Anne and Kelly Sue.

Bill and Carol moved to the Twin Cities area in 1967. At that time he began working for Sperry Univac (Unisys). He worked there until 1997. He then began working at Kodak, where he was employed until his death. Bill passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2000.

In 1992 they moved to Apple Valley, MN.

Bill is survived by his mother, Hazel of Tracy, his wife Carol; daughters Debbie Stadther, & finance' Shannon Fyten, Rosemount, MN and Kelly (Jeff) Anondson, Farmington, MN; grandchildren T.J. Stadther and Nathan Anondson; brothers Doug of Brooklyn Park, MN and Ken of NJ; sisters Barbara Grace, Burnsville, MN; Carolyn Filter, Worthington, MN; Shirley Fredericks, Mankato, MN; Marilyn Freidlund, Apple Valley, MN; many nieces and nephews.
