Kathman, Jacobson sit out because of 30-match rule

Panther wrestlers placed sixth out of 10 teams in the Plum Creek Wrestling Tournament in Lamberton Saturday.

"I had to hold out Erik Kathman and Eric Jacobson because they have wrestled so many matches that they are getting close to the limit of 30," said Panther Coach Joe Kemp. "With them participating we may have placed as high as fourth. The kids wrestled pretty well and we should be back at full strength for our next meet.

The Panthers' Aldon Struchen and Mark Andree won championships, Aaron Goettig placed second and Peter Jacobsen fourth in the tournament.Headlight Herald - Serving Tracy, Minnesota, since 1880
