Veronica Stefanick, 46

Services will be held for Veronica (Vonnie) Rae Stefanick, 46, of Tracy at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tracy, MN. Visitation will be held at Almlie Funeral Home on Thurs., Feb. 14 from 4-8 p.m. with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.

Veronica (Vonnie) Rae Stefanick was born January 30, 1956 to Ronald and Dorrene Nelson (Hansen) in Tracy, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Vonnie attended Tracy public schools graduating from Tracy High School in 1974. She married Richard (Ric) Stefanick on June 22, 1974 and made their home in Tracy.

The couple had two daughters, Bobbie Jo and Stacy.

Vonnie lived her whole life in Tracy and dedicated herself to raising her family and working with her husband at his business, Ric's Service. She took pride in volunteering at St. Mary's School, helping out at recess and supervising the lunchroom. Vonnie was a member of the St. Francis CCW Guild at St. Mary's Church and managed the Antler Apartments in Tracy.

Her greatest enjoyments in life were her children, grandchildren, beloved pets; Trixie and Gizmo, grandpets; Sam, Rascal and Harry. Vonnie loved playing bingo, cards and fishing. But most of all spending time with her family.

Vonnie passed away Sunday, February 10, 2002 in Sioux Falls, SD with her family at her side after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ric, her dedicated daughters; Bobbie Jo (Mike) Anderson of Tracy, MN, Stacy Stefanick and Johnny Gilbertson of Tracy, MN. Four grandchildren; Michael and Andrew Anderson, Kyle and Makyah Gilbertson all of Tracy, MN, her father, Ron Nelson and sister Cindy (Dan) Burt of Coleman, SD.

Vonnie is preceded in death by her mother, Dorrene and brother, Perry.

Memorials are to be given to St. Mary's School.
