The Panther baseball team won one out of three games this week.

Tracy/Milroy/Balaton is now 6-6 for the season and 5-5 in the 212 Conference.

Monday, the Panthers traveled to Grove City and split a double header with the Falcons. ACGC won the first game 3-1 and the Panthers took second 16-4.

"The kids have lost some of their confidence," said Panther Coach Bill Tauer. “It is sort of like, 'here we go again' when things start to go bad. We were leading the first game at ACGC 1-0 going into the last inning and they got 4 hits to score 3 runs and beat us. Downes is about as good a pitcher as we have faced."

Adam Schmidt pitched the first game for TMB and gave up 3 runs on 7 hits while walking none and striking out 5. Downes went all the way for the Falcons and held TMB to 1 run on 2 hits while walking 2 and striking out 6.

Austin Skoblik got both hits for TMB and drove in the only run.

In the second game, Erik Kathman went all the way on the mound giving up 4 runs on 4 hits while walking none and striking out 8.
