Roselle Peterson, 89

Roselle "Sally" Margaret Peterson, 89, of Westbrook, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Westbrook Good Samaritan Center.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, May 28, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at Westbrook Funeral Home, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 29 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Dovray. The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Dovray. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Born April 8, 1914, in Dovray Township, she was the daughter of Francis and Pernille Olson Overton. She married Charles Burt. He preceded her in death. She married Donald Peterson Aug. 31, 1958, in Dovray.

She attended schools in Dovray. After her second marriage, they lived in Dovray for 41/2 years and then moved to Holly Township and farmed. She worked for Omberson's Hardware for 19 years. In November 2002, she became a resident at the Westbrook Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Our Savior's Ladies Aid and the Holly Flower Club.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Gerald (Lynn) Burt, South Carolina; one sister, Violet Schultz; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
