VFW wins at Dome

The Tracy VFW Baseball team continued it's winning ways with a 6-5 win over Redwood Falls in the Hubert Humphrey Metrodome Tuesday night following the Twins loss to the Chicago White Sox. The win improved Tracy's season record to 5-6 and they are 5-3 in the Northern Division.

"The guys are playing with confidence in themselves and their team mates," said Tracy Coach Bill Tauer. "Our pitchers the last five games have done an outstanding job. The coaches and players would like to thank all the families and friends who attended the game at the dome. It was awesome!"

Derek Radke pitched the entire six innings against Redwood Falls and held them to 5 runs on 5 hits while striking out 2 and walking 1.

Derek Daniels led the 6 hit Tracy attack with a 2 for 3 night at the plate.

The Olivia doubleheader makeup from June 10 will be played Monday, June 30 at Milroy starting at 6:30 p.m..

Legion wins two of three games

The Milroy Junior Legion baseball team played three games last week, winning 2 and losing 1. They are now 3-2 for the season.

Milroy 0 - Madison 4

Last Thursday they lost to Madison 4-0 at Madison.

Anthony Rohlik pitched all 7 innings and gave up 6 hits and 4 runs (2 earned) while striking out 5 and walking 1. Milroy was held to only 1 hit and no runs.
