Evelyn B. Hibbard, 94

Evelyn B. Hibbard of Tracy died at the Tracy Nursing Home on Monday, September 6, 2004. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2004 at the Tracy Lutheran Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Tracy City Cemetery.
The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.

Harold Jasperson, 75

Harold Bernard "Bernie"Jasperson, age 75 of Madison Lake, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Burial was in Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
Harold Bernard was born on February 27, 1929 in Tracy to Harold George William and Evelyn Bernetta (Helgemo) Jasperson. A Class of 1947 graduate of Tracy High School, Bernie earned his BS degree from Mankato State, studying English and Speech and his MS degree, also from Mankato State, studying Spanish and Media. For a brief time he served in the Merchant Marines.
On October 8, 1950 Bernie married Irene Van Duinkerken in Tracy. For 29 years Bernie worked for Nicollet High School, teaching English and Spanish and working in the Media Center. Bernie enjoyed woodworking, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and traveling.
Bernie Jasperson is survived by his wife Irene of Madison Lake, mother Evelyn Hibbard of Tracy, son Kevin of Mankato, two daughters: Marni Hendrickson (Robert) of Champaign, IL, and Julie Paulsen (Robin "Rob") of Mankato, brother Donald (Barb) of Cokato, three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold, step-father Jens Hibbard and grandson Robert Hendrickson, Jr.

Velma Tutt, 85

Velma E. Tutt, Balaton, MN died Monday, September 6, 2004 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Balaton at the age of 85.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Balaton. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Balaton, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at the Ellsborough Lutheran Cemetery, Murray County.
