Elida C. Goerndt, 90

Funeral services for Elida C. Goerndt recently of Minneapolis, formerly of Ceylon and Tracy, MN will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ceylon, MN with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

Elida was born on February 16, 1915 to Rosa and Herman Hagen. She passed away on September 11, 2005 at the age of 90.

She is survived by daughter, Judith Goerndt Heichert; son-in-law, Gary; two grandchildren, Nathan Heichert of Savage, MN and Jessica Heichert Mevissen and her husband, Dennis of Waconia, MN; one sister, Rosalin Thiesse and her husband, Sylvan of Mankato, MN; three sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Arline and Lola Hagen, all of the Ceylon area and dozens of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Goerndt; parents, Rosa and Herman Hagen; four brothers and three sisters; many beloved in-laws and friends.

Interment immediately following the service at Lake Belt Cemetery in Ceylon. Cards of condolence may be sent to: Mrs. Gary Heichert, 8417 Virginia Road, Bloomington, MN 55438.

Donald Lund, 83

Donald Lund, age 83, formerly of Walnut Grove passed away on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with the Walnut Grove Funeral Home.

Daniel Van De Wiele, 40

Daniel Van De Wiele, age 40 of Minneapolis, formerly of Tracy died Monday, September 12, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Vistation will be Thursday 4 -8:00 p.m. with a 4 p.m. Rosary and 7 p.m. Prayer Service all held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will continue one hour prior to Friday’s service. Tracy Area Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
