Germaine Lilligren, 87

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 6, 10:30 a.m. for Germaine Lilligren, age 87, of Wayzata, MN. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5 from 5:30-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata.

Germaine was born July 7, 1918 in Antigo Wisconsin and peacefully passed away April 2, 2006 at her home.

Germaine was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, WI. She was a retired Home Economics teacher, Sauk Centre Juvenile Detention Center and Director of the Cedar Branch Day Activity Center for Developmentally Delayed Adults in Adams, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Franz Peder Arvold, Victor John Keul, and John T. Lilligren.

Loving mother of Carl H. Arvold (Joan), Kathleen M. Groh, Charlotte A. McKee (Lyle), John T. Arvold (Barbara), Mark J. Arvold (Jayne), Jim Keul (Sue), Dr. Tom Keul (Pam), Sally Olson (Darrell), James Lilligren (Cindy); 23 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.

Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Arc Greater Twin Cities or The Church of St. Bartholomew.

Her parents, daughter Janice Doubler, great grandson Landon Caranta, and her sister Anna Standfuss preceded her in death.


Meghen and Kaela VanDeWiele

Meghen Rae and Kaela Rose infant daughters of Jason H. VanDeWiele and Daena M. Esterbrooks of Waconia, MN were born and died on April 2, 2006 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.

They are survived by their family, Jason and Daena; grandparents Sue and Arnie Esterbrooks of Plymouth, Julie and Harold VanDeWiele of Albert Lea; great-grandmothers Ileen Withrow of Tracy and Rita VanDeWiele of Tracy.

Family and friends may call to celebrate the lives of their daughters on Saturday April 8, 2006 between the hour of 1-3 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 141 E. 1st Street, Waconia, MN 952-442-2121
