Harold Radke, 82

Services for Harold R. Radke of Tracy will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Tracy United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today (Wed., Dec. 27) at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at the Tracy City Cemetery.

He died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006 at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.


 

Anne M. Donahue, 94

Anne M. Donahue, age 94 of Westbrook, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Westbrook Good Samaritan Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2006 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Currie, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the church with a 4:30 p.m. rosary and 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are with the Westbrook Funeral Home.

Anne Donahue was born July 12, 1912 to Thomas and Susan (Biren) Leonard in Currie, Minnesota. Anne was baptized and confirmed at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Currie. She attended school at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and graduated from high school in 1930. Anne was united in marriage to Floyd A. Donahue on November 8, 1932 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Anne raised 5 children at home while Floyd served in the US Navy during WWII. Floyd passed away on February 12, 1988. Anne lived in their home in Currie until November 1999 when she moved to an apartment in Westbrook. In 2001 she moved to Peterson Estates until entering Good Samaritan Nursing Home in March 2004.

Anne was a member of I.H.M. CCW, Currie Senior Citizens, CDA member, and a former 4-H leader. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, flowers and spending time with her family.

Anne is survived by her children: Kathleen (Kayo) Silvernale of Currie, Cletus (Carol) Donahue of Phoenix, AZ, Roger (Mamie) Donahue of Ocate, NM, Patrick (Judy) Donahue of Mt. Carmel, IL, Joseph Donahue of Arvada, CO, Edward (Linda) Donahue of Burnsville, MN, Mary (Alan) Reiter of River Falls, oWI, Judith (Rich) Carlson of Tigard, OR, Joan (Bruce) Jorgenson of Westbrook, MN and Douglas (Carol) Donahue of Loveland, CO; 36 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Gert (Melvin) Donahue of Sleepy Eye, MN and Mary (Leo) Hansen of Currie. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Dorothy, son Thomas, daughter-in-law Marjorie, grandson Stephen Silvernale, parents, and brothers John and Thomas Leonard.


 

Ronald Rykhus, 62

Ronald Rykhus, age 62, of New London, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, December 30th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lake Lillian with Rev. Tony Stubeda as celebrant. Burial is in the Community Cemetery at Lake Lillian with military rites by the Fairfax Honor Guard. Visitation is Friday 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at K-M Funeral Home in Lake Lillian. Visitation continues Saturday at the church for one hour prior to the funeral.

Ronald Dean Rykhus was born at Tracy, Minnesota on June 2, 1944. He attended school at Tracy and then assisted area farmers. Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to1972 and then returned to Tracy. He drove truck for many years being employed by Anderson Trucking of Walnut Grove, Reddmann Trucking of Sleepy Eye, Loadstar (Pat Olinger) Trucking of Hector and most recently at Olinger Trucking of Hector. Ron was married to Connie Weisensel in 1975 and they were later divorced. On December 1, 2004 he was married to Veronica Wrobleski and they made their home in New London. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0205 at Fairfax, MN. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, old classic country music and antique machinery.

Ron is survived by his wife, Veronica Rykhus, of New London, his two daughters; Renee (and Matthew) Petersen of New Ulm and Shari Bundy of New Ulm, his two stepsons; Steven Wrobleski (and special friend Josie Falk) of New London and Adam Wrobleski of New London and his two granddaughters; Karissa and Miranda Weigel.
