Ida Glatz, 98
Ida Glatz, age 98 of Tracy, MN died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2008 at the Tracy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service beginning at noon at the church on Saturday, April 5, 2008.
Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery, rural Garvin, MN, following a luncheon at the church. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.

Eugene “Jiggs” Buyck, 79
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, March 29 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy for Eugene “Jiggs” Buyck.
Jiggs was born June 19, 1928 in Walnut Grove, MN to Camiel & Augusta (Van Hecke) Buyck. He attended country school.
On February 6, 1965, Jiggs was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Betty” (Baumann) Miller. Jiggs lived his entire life on the family farm near Garvin. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he was active in the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Tracy Lion’s Club. After Betty passed away, Jiggs began cooking and baking cookies. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing cards and cribbage. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Jiggs passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Jiggs is survived by his children: John Miller of Tracy, Jim (Ade) Miller of Tracy, Mary (Joel) Kildahl of Bloomington, Thom (Michelle) Buyck of Parker, SD, and Tim (Jacqui) Buyck of Rosemount; ten grandchildren: Jarrod, Heidi, Nick, Emily, Molly, Holly, Kelsey, Kordell, Elsa & Isaac; sister Marie (Bob) Albertson of Lamberton; brother Charles “Bud” (Theresa) Buyck of Tracy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Betty, brother Melvin Buyck, and sister Madonna Thieren.
