Archie Embree, 79
Archie Francis Embree, 79, of
Lebanon, OR passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 with his wife of 53 years by
his side.
He was born in Granite Falls,
Minnesota to Frank and Alice (Brecke) Embree. At the age of 27, he married
Marlys Joan Pederson. The two lived in Minnesota where they had five beautiful
children, Lynnette, Bonny, Melanie, Marilyn, and John.
In 1975, Archie and his family moved
to the Northwest to settle in Lebanon, Oregon. He worked as a mechanic until he
retired at the age of 62.
He enjoyed carpentry, photography,
and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a devoted husband,
and a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Mr. Embree is survived by his three
siblings; Shirley of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, Alan of Springfield, Minnesota,
Mervyn of Lamberton, Minnesota, five children, nine grandchildren, and seven
great grandchildren. He will be loved, missed, and remembered by all those
who’s lives he has touched.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, sister Delores and brother Randy.

Amee L. Thiel, 17
Amee Lee Thiel, our beautiful
daughter, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her home in Henderson from a
fire.
Funeral Service will be held at 11
a.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Hilltop United Methodist Church,
Mankato. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday at Mankato Mortuary and
will continue one hour before service at church on Saturday. In lieu of
flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
Amee was born August 10, 1993 to
Larry and Marie (Wanke) Thiel in Waconia, MN. She was currently a senior in
high school. Amee was involved with the Tracy High School Choir, loved to
model, and had a huge love for children and animals. Amee had a huge
fascination with monkeys. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to be
with her family and friends. She was especially excited when she got her
license and her first car. Amee enjoyed laughing and had a smile that
would light up the world! She was planning on being an OBGYN Nurse after
high school. Even though Amee lived a short 17 years and 19 days she has
touched the lives of so many people with her loving spirit!
Amee is survived by her father,
Larry Thiel of Henderson; mother, Marie Drake and step-father, Tim of Mankato;
sister, Nicole (Mario) Rendon of Winthrop; brothers, Dustin Kohman of Chaska
and Michael Drake of Mankato; grandmother, Joyce Wanke of Mankato;
step-grandmother, Ardys Drake of Tracy; three step-brothers in Marshall; and
many many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Amee was preceded in death by her
brother, Adam Thiel; sister, Natasha Kohman; grandparents, Melvin Wanke, Lee
and Francis Thiel.
