Bonnie J. Flatequal, Eagle
Grove, IA, formerly of Tracy MN, died on Friday, July 29. Funeral Service
was held on Tuesday, Aug 2, Samuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove IA. Burial
Service on Wed, Aug 3, Tracy Cemetery.
Bonnie Jean Flatequal, the
daughter of John and Emma (Fredricks) Smarzik was born September 10, 1926 in
Tracy MN.
Survivors include daughters,
Roxanne (Frank) Kemper, Randy (Dale) Baack, 3 grandchildren, 10
great-grandchildren and brothers-in-law, Roger Flatequal and Dale
Templeton.
She was preceded in death by
parents and husband, Robert. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove, IA in
charge of arrangements.
Shelba Giles, 73
Shelba J. Giles age 73 of
Tracy, MN died Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Sanford-Sioux Valley Medical
Center in Sioux Falls, SD. A
memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Christian
Alliance Church in Tracy. Visitation at the church will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00
PM on Saturday. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service at
the church. Interment will take
place at a later date. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the
arrangements.

Duane Goettig, 52
Duane Goettig, age 52, of
Elkton, SD, formerly of the Marshall area, passed away unexpectedly Monday,
July 25, 2011. A memorial service
was held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 29 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home. Online condolences may be

Duane Goettig was born July
27, 1958 in Tracy, Minnesota to Darold and Rose (Hoffman) Goettig. He graduated from Tracy High School in
1977. Duane was united in marriage
to Karen Towne, and to this union his son, Kevin, was born. Later, Duane married Shelly
Simmons. Duane loved cookouts with
his son and driving truck. He
enjoyed working around the house and fixing things. He was a jack of all trades.
Duane is survived by his son, Kevin Goettig; parents Darold and Rose; godson Nicholas Janachovsky; siblings: Lonnie (Cindy) Goettig, Jeff (Teresa) Goettig, Kelly Goettig, Darrin (Sara) Goettig; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, and infant brother Wayne.
Peggy Schultz, 35
Peggy Elaine Schultz, age 35,
an 18-year resident of Bullhead City, AZ, passed away peacefully on Saturday,
June 11, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Peggy was born in Lake Havasu
City, AZ on July 25, 1975.
She was a beloved daughter, a
valued employee and a choice friend.
She spent her formative years
in Bullhead City, AZ, attending Bullhead City Elementary School, and in 1993,
graduated from Mohave High School. She was an active member of Hope United Methodist Church.
After graduating from high
school, Peggy moved to Las Vegas and enrolled in Phillips Business College to
pursue an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. While pursuing her education she was hired as an assistant
at one of Nevada’s oldest and most respected law firms – Olson, Cannon,
Gormley & Desruisseaux. She
served her internship at OCG&D and, upon receiving her Degree, was hired by
the firm as a full-time paralegal. She continued working in that capacity for the firm until her recent
illness caused her to be hospitalized. She will be sorely missed by all who knew or worked with her.
Peggy is survived by her
mother, Janice (Baack) Hudson, of Bullhead City, AZ.
She is preceded in death by
her maternal grandparents Delbert and Virene Baack of Tracy.
A Celebration of Life was held
on June 20, 2011 at Hope United Methodist Church, Bullhead City, AZ. Pastor Ed Denham officiated.
Arrangements were under the
care of Desert Lawn Funeral Home.
