Kenneth Amundson, 54
Kenneth Amundson age 54 of
Tracy, MN, formerly of Sacramento, CA, died at his home in Tracy on Tuesday,
September 20, 2011. Services were
held Monday September 26, 2011 at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota, MN. Interment was at the
Hope Lutheran Cemetery, with a luncheon served at the church following the
burial. The Almlie Funeral Home of

Kenneth Edwin Amundson was
born December 6, 1956 to Edwin and Marie (Ramseth) Amundson in Marshall,
MN. He was baptized and confirmed
in Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota, MN, where he grew up, and attended
Minneota Public Schools, graduating from Minneota High School in 1974. He then attended Southwest State
University in Marshall for three years.
On July 28, 1984 Ken married
Lori Carroll in Golden, CO. They
made their home in Colorado before moving to Sacramento, CA in 1987. They had both been transferred with the
company, Broadband Technology, where Ken was a Supervisor and Lori was an
Office Manager. They moved back to
Tracy, MN in July of 2011 to be near family.
Growing up Ken had many pets
he loved including dogs (German Shorthairs were his favorites), cats, frogs and
turtles. He also lived and breathed sports in high school, where he was active
in track, basketball, football and softball. Through the years this made him a huge Minnesota Vikings
fan, but his first love, his soul-mate, was his wife, Lori of thirty-three
years together and his two children, Michael and Ashley.

Ken died at his home in Tracy at the age of 54.
Ken is survived by his wife,
Lori Amundson of Tracy, MN; one son, Michael Amundson of Santa Cruz, CA; one
daughter, Ashley Amundson of Tracy, MN; one sister, Mavis (David) Sandberg of
Highlands Ranch, CO; one brother-in-law, Gary (Sally) Carroll of Vancouver, WA;
two sisters-in-law, Marlene (Harold) Halfmann of Tracy, MN and Diane (John)
Woodhall of Spicer, MN; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ken is preceded in death by
his parents, and his father and mother-in-law.
Charles ‘Bud’ Buyck, 90
Charles “Bud” Buyck, age 90,
of Tracy passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Sanford Tracy Medical
Center. Mass of Christian Burial
was held on Saturday, September 24 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Online condolences may be

Charles “Bud” Buyck was born
May 11, 1921 in Walnut Grove, Minnesota to Camiel and Augusta (VanHecke)
Buyck. He was baptized and
confirmed in the Catholic faith. He attended school in Walnut Grove. On June 18, 1944, Bud enlisted in the US Army and was a part
of the 38th Infantry, 2nd Division. He served during the European Theater
and was Sergeant of Company E. He
was awarded the EAME ribbon and three bronze stars. Bud was very proud of his military service.
On November 24, 1948, Bud
married Theresa Kosse at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Bud was a lifelong farmer, and enjoyed
it thoroughly. He was a member of
the Garvin American Legion and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoe,
and shooting pool at the Senior Center. Bud was a gentle, kind, and quiet man with a good sense of humor and
endless supply of one-liners.
Bud is survived by his wife
Theresa of 62 years; children: Colleen (Bill) Baxter of Stevensville, Maryland,
Joellen Rountree of Boulder, CO, Steven (Carol) Buyck of Garvin, Adele (Jim)
Abrahamson of Atlanta, GA, Marietta (Bo) Reagan of Littleton, CO; 6 grandsons:
Vincent Baxter, Charles “Chip” Rountree, Peter Rountree, James Reagan, Jeffrey
(Jenna) Buyck, Matthew Abrahamson; 2 great-granddaughters: Elizabeth &
Clara Buyck. Bud is also survived
by his sister Marie Albertson of Lamberton; sisters-in-law Maxine Buyck of
Tracy, Doris (Dale) Scott of Garvin, Betty Kosse of the Twin Cities, MN, and
Dianne Annibal of Scottsdale, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Thieren, and
brothers Melvin Buyck and Eugene Buyck.
Anna Erickson, 99
Anna Erickson, age 99, of
Westbrook passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Prairie View Health Care
Center in Tracy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday,
October 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation is from
11:00 a.m. to the time of services at the church. Interment is in Tracy

Anna Pauline Larson Erickson
was born December 15, 1911 in Westbrook Township to Lewis B. and Mary
(Mathiason) Larson. She was baptized June, 1912 at Highwater Lutheran
Church and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church at Westbrook. Anna went
to school in Westbrook and graduated in 1931.
On January 30, 1935 she
married Russell Erickson. To this union Marilyn and Rosalie were
born. They lived on their farm until 1958 when they bought their home at
Lake Shetek, where she lived until 1997. Anna then moved to Westbrook in
the apartment. In 2006 she broke her hip and had to enter Prairie View
Nursing Home in Tracy. Anna passed away at Prairie View on Tuesday,
September 27, 2011 at the age of 99 years.
Anna is survived by her
daughters: Marilyn (Charles) Johnson of Westbrook and Rosalie (Jon) Rongstad of
Lake Shetek; grandchildren: Mark Johnson, James Kirby Johnson, Tim (Kris)
Rongstad, Eric (Lois) Rongstad, and Paul (Karla) Rongstad; great grandchildren:
Matt and Rachel Rongstad, Nathan and Collin Rongstad. She is preceded in
death by her parents, 2 sisters Florence and Lillian, 3 brothers Walter, Alvin,
and Bud, and husband Russell in 1977.
