Eduardo Mota Alicano age 40 of
Tracy, MN died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his home in Tracy, MN. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday,
November 18, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00
p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy, with a
rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.. The visitation will continue one hour
prior to the service at the funeral Home on Friday. A luncheon will be served in the church social hall
immediately following the service. Interment will be Chihuahua, Mexico at a later date.

Eduardo Mota Alicano was born
January 11, 1971 to Anastasio Mota Nunez and Josefina Alicano Moreno in Parral,
Chihuahua, Mexico. He was baptized
and confirmed in the Catholic faith and attended school, graduating from high
school in Chihuahua, Mexico.
He then immigrated to the
United States in 1992. He made his
home in Tracy, MN and began working for DM&E Railroad in 1995.
On August 21, 1998 Eduardo
married Theresa Holt Mota in New Ulm, MN. They made their home in Tracy, where he continued working with DM&E
Railroad as a Machine Operator and Maintenace Worker for the past sixteen
years.
He was a member of St. Mary’s
Catholic Church in Tracy and enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He loved to take his family on
vacations to Mexico, California, Disneyland, and camping up in northern
Minnesota. He loved his children
very much, and especially liked playing and watching sports with them, taking
them to movies, and rides in his pickup truck to get pizza. He was also a big Twins and Vikings fan
and loved taking his boys to the games.
Eduardo is survived by his
wife, Theresa A. Holt Mota of Tracy, MN; step-daughter, Jacquelyn (Ka Yeng) Vue
of Ghent, MN; two sons, Sean and Joe Mota of Tracy, MN; four grandchildren,
Mina, Eason, Kelan and Jocelyn Vue all of Ghent, MN; his parents, Anastasio and
Josefina of Chuhuahua, Mexico; three sisters, Betty (Alonzo) Mota de Amparan,
Gabriella Mota and Socorro Mota all of Chihuahua, Mexico; nieces, nephews and
many friends.
His grandparents and several
uncles and cousins preceded him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was
held for Donna Lehman on Sat., November 12, 2011 at Church of St. Mary,
Willmar, MN. Fr. Steve Verhelst officiated.
Donna Marie was born August
21, 1939, in Tracy, MN, the daughter of Merle and Viola (Bangasser)
Turner. She was baptized and
confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. She grew up in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in
1957. After graduation she moved
to Minneapolis and worked for Prudential Insurance and later at the Federal
Reserve Bank.
On August 12, 1961, Donna was
united in marriage to Thomas Lehman at St. Stevens Catholic Church in
Minneapolis. In 1962, they moved
to Rochester and lived until 1969, when they moved to Willmar.
She is survived by her
husband, Thomas of Willmar; children Maria (Patrick) Gromatka of Alexandria;
Susan Lehman of Albertville and Eric (Jody) Lehman of Chaska; nine
grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
Her parents and one brother
preceded her in death.
Interment was in St. Mary
Cemetery, Willmar, MN. The Harvey
Anderson & Johnson Funeral Homes handled the arrangements.
Betty Lou Meyer, age 83, of
Marshall, formerly of Tracy, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Prairie
Home Hospice House in Marshall after a courageous five year battle with lung
cancer. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Tracy
Lutheran Church. Interment was in Tracy City Cemetery. Online

Betty Lou Meyer was born April
1, 1928 in New Ulm, Minnesota to Louis and Martha (Garbrecht) Vogel. She
graduated from Tracy High School in 1946. On February 12, 1948 she was
united in marriage to Deane C. Meyer at Tracy Lutheran Church, where she
attended with her children. Betty Lou had various jobs with Dr. J. Von
Bokern, Lau Seed Company, Tracy High School, and Schwans Sales in
Marshall. She moved to California in 1978 to be with her daughter Chris,
husband Rick and grandchildren. They were the joy of her life.
Betty worked as a bookkeeper and secretary at Pajaro Greenhouse and also for a
Cadillac service. She moved back to Marshall in 1984 where she
retired. Betty Lou lived at Park View Apartments for many years.
She enjoyed knitting, doing odd jobs for seniors, and helping them. One
of her many enjoyments was taking care of Jan’s cats and her pond. She
was a very giving and loving person and will be missed by many.
Betty Lou is survived by her
daughters Janice (Randy) Parde of Marshall and Christine (Rick) Podratz of
Corralitos, CA; 4 grandchildren: Chrystal (Justin) Lair, and Amber, Zack, and
Shane Podratz; and great granddaughter Addison Lair.
She is preceded in death by
her parents, husband Deane, and brother Myron Vogel.
David L. Seivert age 42 of
Tracy, MN, formerly of Brewster, MN died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at his home
in Tracy. Services were held
Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall, MN. Interment was in the

David Lawrence Seivert was
born March 15, 1969, to William J. and Evonne (Ekberg) Seivert in Worthington,
MN. He was baptized and confirmed
in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brewster, MN. David attended elementary and secondary schools in Brewster
and completed his high school in the Sioux Valley-Round Lake-Brewster High
School, graduating in 1987.
After high school, David
attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD, Iowa Lakes Community
College in Estherville, IA, and Ridge Water College in Willmar, MN, where he
received his Associates Degree in Law Enforcement in 1999. He took additional
law enforcement classes at Mankato State in Mankato. He was a police officer for four years and then Chief of
Police for four years in Sleepy Eye, MN. In addition he took some classes at Canby Vocational-Technical College
in Canby. During his years
of employment he also worked for several different companies, including
Norcraft/Mid Continent Cabinetry in Cottonwood, MN; Schwan’s in Marshall, MN;
and Cash Wise in Willmar, MN.
On October 13, 1992, David
married Peggy S. Schewe in Sioux Falls, SD. They made their home in several southwest Minnesota
communities before settling in Marshall in 2009 and then moved to Tracy, MN in
August of 2011.
He was a former member of Holy
Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall and a member of the Knights of Columbus in
Sleepy Eye. He enjoyed
woodworking, camping, playing cards, building large campfires, and loved to
cook. David will be remembered for
his great sense of humor and his enjoyment of spending time with family.
On Saturday, November 5, 2011,
David died at his home in Tracy at the age of 42.
David is survived by his wife,
Peggy Seivert of Tracy, MN; one son, Justin D. Seivert of Tracy, MN and special
friend, Brittany Waterman; his mother, Evonne Seivert of Marshall, MN; three
sisters, Kathryn Vos of Hills, MN; Debra Seivert of Marshall, MN; and Sheryl
Vaske of Elkton, SD; mother-in-law, Kathy Schewe of Springfield, MN;
father-in-law, Lenus Schewe of Walnut Grove, MN; grandmother-in-law, Fern
Larson of St. James, MN; three sisters-in-law, Karen (Jody) Onken of Slayton,
MN; Rhoda Johnson of Marshall, MN; and Londa (Scott) VanWinkle of Walnut Grove,
MN; brother-in-law, Charles Schewe of Seattle, WA; three God Children, Kristi
Wasmund, Worthington, MN; Caleb Bedner, Windom, MN; and Alex Schewe, Marshall,
MN; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
His father, William Seivert,
paternal grandparents, Lawrence M. and Viola (Meier) Seivert; and maternal
grandparents, Harry V. and Thelma (Brown) Ekberg; three uncles, two aunts, and
one niece preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held for
Georgia Smith at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton, MN on November 11, 2011
with Rev. Ted Kunze officiating. The organist was Alice Magnus with
special music by Heidi Winter. The pallbearers were Jordon Dibble, Anthony
Conrad, Erin Johnson, Noah Johnson, Eric Johnson, and Paul Vosberg.
Interment was at Slayton Memorial Gardens Slayton, MN.
Georgia Smith was born on
October 16, 1943 in Worthington, Minnesota to Harm and Shirley Bixby
Meyeraan. She grew up in the Worthington area and graduated from
Worthington High School in 1962.
In 1961 she and Carl Anderson
were married in Spencer, IA. Following their marriage they made their
home in Jackson, MN and Georgia worked at Campbell Soup in Worthington and
later at Sperry Univac in Jackson. She and Carl later divorced.
In 1996 she met her life
partner, Allen Kramer (7). Together they made their home near Currie, MN
and Georgia worked as a bartender at T-Tommy’s in Currie.
Georgia passed away on
Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age
of 68. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton. Georgia
enjoyed flowers, country music, painting, doing remodeling projects, and
interior decorating.
Survivors include her partner,
Allen Kramer (7) of Currie, MN, four children and their spouses, Kevin and
Linda Anderson of Lakefield, MN, Lisa and Bob Myhre of Minneota, MN, Holly and
Matt Hokkannen of Andover, MN, and June and Jason Petersen of Porter, MN,
11grandchildren, one great-grandson, her mother, Shirley Meyeraan of
Worthington, MN, eight brothers and sisters and their spouses, Robert and Orean
Meyeraan of Bigelow, MN, Ronnie Meyeraan of Worthington, MN, Linda and Gary
Hieronimus of Ellsworth, MN, Helen and Dean Mekosch of Jackson, MN, Darrel and
Norma Meyeraan of Fulda, MN, Roxanne Popillion of Hurst, TX, Sylvia
Reynolds of Worthington, MN, and Todd and Elaine Meyeraan of Bigelow, MN and
several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by
father, Harm Meyeraan, one granddaughter, Stephanie Hegg, and one brother,
Harmy Meyeraan.
