Cynthia Schmidt, 56
Cynthia K. Schmidt (Cindy) was
born August 16, 1956, in Mankato, Minnesota, to Allie and Irene (Lingbeek)
Eisele. She passed away in her home in San Antonio, Texas on September 13, 2012
after a battle with cancer.
In 1968, the family moved to
the Reading, Minnesota, area. Cindy attended school in Reading, and she
graduated from Worthington High School in 1974. She married Rick Schmidt on
December 18, 1974, in Worthington. They lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for
a short time before moving to Texas. Cindy was co-owner and Office Manager of
Foreign Specialist Auto Repair with husband Rick Schmidt for 23 years. She was
a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Service Unit Treasurer for 12 years. Cindy will
be missed by many people.
She is survived by her husband
of 37 years, Rick Schmidt, San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Kaytlin Schmidt, San
Antonio, Texas; mother, Irene Eisele of Reading; brother, Cy Eisele of Reading;
sisters, Carol (William) Schreiber of Brewster, Carla (James) Goedtke of
Slayton and Carmen (Thomas) Kamm of Rushmore; father-in-law, Don Schmidt and
partner, Dee Maguire and mother-in-law, Gloria Flory, formerly of Worthington,
now of San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by
her father, Allie Eisele.
Graveside services were held
on Friday, September 21, 2012, at Holy Cross Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
