Lila Klein, 84
Lila Klein age 84 of Tracy, MN
died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Wabasso, MN. Services were held at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Tracy United Methodist Church. Interment will
be in the Tracy City Cemetery. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the
arrangements.
Lila Pearl Klein was born July
20, 1928 to George and Pearl (Reynolds) Flesner in Walnut Grove, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in the
Christian faith and attended country school.
On February 23, 1956 Lila
married Elmer Klein. Their blended
family lived in Tracy and later moved to the farm site were she enjoyed being a
farmer’s wife. Over the years,
Lila worked for the Friendly Inn, Red Owl Grocery, and Ken’s Super Valu, all in
Tracy and then later was a Tupperware Dealer from her home.
Lila was a member of the Tracy
United Methodist Church and was an active member in the Tracy community. She was a member of the Tracy American
Legion Auxiliary and served as its President in years past. She also volunteered many hours to the
Auxiliary and its many projects.
She was a devoted wife, mother
and grandmother, playing a vital role as a caregiver to many of her family
members. She loved having family
together and would host holiday gatherings, filling her home with great food
and memorable moments full of laughter. Lila was fun-spirited and enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. She would also pass the time
crocheting, while watching her favorite soaps, old western movies, Twins
baseball games, and WWF Wrestling.
In February of 2009 Lila
became a resident of the Golden Living Center in Wabasso, MN, where she died,
surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the age of 84.
Lila is survived by her
husband of 57 years, Elmer Klein of Tracy, MN; children, Wayne (Gloria) Klein,
Robin Hay, and Melissa (Landy) Millican, all of Tracy, MN; step-children,
Cleone (Allan) Richardson of Tracy, MN and Loren Klein of Minneapolis, MN;
fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Spencer
(Margaret) Flesner of Phoenix, AZ and Leon (MaryAnne) Flesner of Ramsey, MN;
many nieces, nephews and friends.
Her parents, two daughters,
Lynn Isenberg and Donna, two granddaughters, Michelle Klein and Donna Story,
one sister, Verna Nielsen and one brother, Donald (Alice) Flesner preceded her
in death.
Kenneth Reinarts, 86
Kenneth R. Reinarts age 86 of
Tracy, MN died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Prairie View Healthcare Center
in Tracy. Services were held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at St. Mary’s
Catholic Church in Tracy. Interment will be in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, MN
at a later date. The Almlie
Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
Kenneth Raymond Reinarts was
born January 12, 1927 to Harry P. and Lillian (Mueller) Reinarts in New Ulm,
MN. He was baptized on January 23,
1927 and confirmed on May 15, 1939 in the Catholic Church in New Ulm. Ken attended New Ulm Schools and
shortly after graduating, he enlisted into the US Navy on January 1, 1945. He trained at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
for radio technician and served on the USS LST 866. After his honorable discharge on July 7, 1946 Ken returned
to Minnesota. As a young man he
worked at the Hauenstein Brewery in New Ulm as a truck driver.
On August 14, 1954 Ken married
Deloris Rosenau in Lamberton, MN and they made their home in New Ulm for a
short time. Ken went to work for
the McCleary Auto Parts Company and then transferred to Tracy, MN, where he
continued to work for McCleary’s until his retirement.
Ken was a member of St. Mary’s
Catholic Church in Tracy and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Tracy
American Legion and Tracy VFW and was active for many years in helping with the
Tracy Box Car Days Celebration. He
enjoyed coin collecting, playing accordion, the organ, playing cards, and
traveling the country with his wife.

Kenneth died at the Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy at the age of 86.
Kenneth is survived by his
wife, Deloris Reinarts of Tracy, MN; three sisters, Shirley (John) Hawkinson of
White Bear Lake, MN, Lois Jean (LaVern) Wesselman and Carol (Howard) Schroeder,
both of New Ulm, MN; four sisters-in-law, Barb Reinarts of New Ulm, MN, Irene
McKelvey of Seattle, WA, Gertrude Weedman and Mary Haas, both of Springfield,
MN; many nieces, nephews and friends.
His parents, one sister, Muriel
Lau, one brother, Tom Reinarts, and three brothers-in-law, Lisle McKelvey,
Kenneth Weedman and Emil Haas preceded him in death.
