Chuck Elliott, 62
Charles Elliott, 62 of Savage MN passed away on Friday, June 14,
2013. Born in Tracy, MN, Chuck was the middle child of five siblings. He was
married to wife Sharon for 39 years. They were blessed with two sons and two
granddaughters.
Chuck was the longest standing employee of Integra Telecom, with
43 years of service at his job. Chuck’s granddaughters were the absolute light
of his life. He was a gentle, strong, loving, stubborn, cranky, beautiful soul and we cannot imagine our days to come without
his presence in our lives.
Chuck will be loved and forever missed by his sons, Adam (Lisa) Mauer Elliott, Jared (Sheila Shetka)
Elliott, granddaughters Lexi and Malia;
sister Judy (Dave) Stabell, sister Shari (John)
Meyer, brother Kenny (Julie) Elliott, brother Mike (Glenis)
Elliott; brother-in-law Gary (Patricia) Verstraete;
uncle Wayne (Lois) Elliott; extended family and friends. He
was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s honor can be made to the
Grand Canyon Association for the preservation of Grand Canyon National Park,
where his ashes will eventually be released.
June Ginter, 82
June L. Ginter, age 82 of Amery, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday,
June 17, 2013 at Golden Age Manor in Amery. She was born on June 18, 1930 in
Elysian, Minnesota to Joseph and Laura (Worrell) Warner. She attended and graduated from
Claremont High School in 1948. During her senior year of high school she worked as a telephone operator
in Claremont. She continued to work
in Claremont after graduating from high school and on November 20, 1948 was
united in marriage to Robert Ginter. The couple made their home in Sanborn, Minnesota and later moved to
Tracy, Minnesota where they were blessed with a son, Mike in 1950.
While living in Tracy she worked as a bookkeeper for Hemmingsen
Auto Sales Company for 35 years. They would make Tracy their home until moving to Amery in 2004 to be
closer to their son. Bob and June spent 19 years living in Mission, Texas
during the winter months where they made many friends over the years.
June loved her family
and they were very important to her. She enjoyed family gatherings and seeing her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic
Church in Tracy and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amery, a member of the
Hospital Auxiliary and also a member of many bridge groups. She loved to play bridge, knit, do cross
stitch and was fond of dogs. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and canning. In her early years she spent time
bowling, camping, fishing and collecting arrowheads. June was preceded in death by her
parents and sisters, Judy and Jane.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; son, Michael
(Norma); three grandchildren, Jake Ginter, Abby (Ron) McDonald and Lindsay
Ginter and two great grandchildren, Layla and Dylan McDonald. She also leaves behind brothers, Jerry
and Joey Warner and sisters, Joan Naylor, Jean Howieson and Jule Paquin.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
