Camilla Schafer Bourque, 93

Camilla Alice Schafer Bourque, 93 of Waterville Maine passed away on September 24th after a brief illness at Inland Hospital. 

Born September 14, 1920 in Tracy, MN, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia Schaffer of Tracy, MN. 

She is survived by her three sons, Gary Stiles of Bradford, Vermont, David Bourque and wife Joyce of Derry, NH, and Brian Bourque and his wife, Cathy of Benton, Maine, a daughter-in-law Robin Peck and her husband Dan of Jacksonville, FL.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three very special nieces, Janet Krikorian, Sharon Rondeau and Linda Wakefield. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Phillip Bourque, daughter Shirley Bourque, son William Bourque, step-son Dennis Bourque and two sisters, Wilma Duffy and Beverly  Maxwell. 

Camilla will always be remembered for her love of eating out.  She enjoyed nothing more than going to lunch with a group of family or friends for lunch.  She knew all of the local menus along with the daily specials within the greater Waterville area.    

A celebration of Camilla’s life was held at Brian and Cathy Bourque’s house at 132 Unity Road in Benton on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
