Lincoln Roy Arnold

Lincoln Arnold was born on March 1, 2014 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Cassidy and Mary Gervais Arnold.  Lincoln was a little boy full of life and mischief so much so that he got the name “Stinkin Lincoln”. Lincoln passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the age of 2 months and 9 days. 

He is survived by his parents, brother, Tyler and twin sister, Emma, all of Tracy, MN, paternal grandparents, Kevin and Kim Arnold of Currie, MN, maternal grandparents, Francis and Loretta Gervais of Currie, MN, paternal great-grandmother, Darlene Menk and her husband, Dave of Benson, MN, paternal great-grandfather, Lanny Engler of Westbrook, MN, maternal great-grandmother, Louise Gervais of Currie, MN and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Carl and Alta Arnold, maternal great–grandfather, Hugh Gervais and maternal great-grandparents, Lawrence and Ramona Noomen.

Funeral Services were held at  Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Currie, MN on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Andrew Vogel officiating.  The organist was Patty LeClaire.  The song leader was Linnea Surprenant.  Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Currie, MN.

Shirley Shaw Bauhs, 90

Funeral services for Shirley (Polkinghorn) Shaw Bauhs were held on Wed., May 7 at 11 a.m. at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell South Dakota. Shirley passed away on May 3, 2014 at the age of 90.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands, Melvin Shaw and Duane Bauhs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Congregational United Church of Christ of Mitchell, SD.

 

Alyce L. Ozmun, 79

Alyce Ozmun, 79, of Omaha passed away at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. Alyce was a manager for Dolly Madison for many years. Alyce was born March 22, 1935 in rural Walnut Grove, Minnesota to Oliver (who always called her Alicia) and Marie Klucking Harbo.

She is survived by her sons: Mike and his wife Cheryl, Tony, Jeff, and Steve.  Alyce is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One brother Robert Harbo, four sisters: Betty Foster, Elsie Zimmerman, Bev Dunner, and Joan Byers, all of Minnesota.

Alyce was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Donald and Merle and one sister Marianne Carlson.

Services for Alyce will be 10:00 am Saturday May 17th at the Tracy Lutheran Church, 64 Rowland Street, Tracy, MN 56175. The family prefers memorials to Tracy Lutheran Church.
