Dorothy Enke, 90

Dorothy Jean Enke passed away, at Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC, on December 27, 2013 with her family near her.  A graveside service will be held at the Tracy Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014, where her ashes will be buried alongside her loving husband of 53 years.

Dorothy was born in Tracy on February 22, 1924, to Ira and Mary (Piper) Thaxton.  She graduated from the Tracy High School in 1942 and married LaWayne F. Enke on July 19, 1947.

Dorothy loved being a mother and homemaker, but was also very active in Christian Women’s Fellowship, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and the Bible Study groups.  Dorothy lived in 10 different cities over her lifetime.  She lived in Sauk Rapids, MN for the last 39 years.

Dorothy is survived by her children Jennifer Drum (Brian Dugan) of Rock Hill, SC, Rory Enke of San Francisco, CA, grandchildren Christopher Drum of Tokyo, Japan and Calista Drum of Charlotte, NC.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband LaWayne F. Enke, parents Ira and Mary Thaxton and siblings Adele Hutton, Clay Thaxton and Keith Thaxton.

Dorothy was dearly loved by her family and friends.

Anna Mae Mickelson, 83

Anna Mae Mickelson age 83 of Tracy passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Sanford Tracy Medical Center after a brief illness. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 23 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy.  Visitation is 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.  Interment is in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or Tracy Area Medical Foundation.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service - Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Margaret Peterson, 83

Margaret Peterson age 83 of Tracy, MN died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy.  

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Tracy Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, also held at Tracy Lutheran Church.  A luncheon will be served following the service on Saturday in the church social hall.  Interment will be at a later date in the Tracy City Cemetery.   The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
