Vivian C. Fick, 87

Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma & Dear Friend, age 87, went to her heavenly Father on September 30, 2014.

Preceded in death by husband of 66 years, John, sons Jack & Cary; grandson Thomas; a brother and a sister.

Survived by children Cathy Griesenbrock, Moni Solko, Mike and Paul (Katy); daughter-in-law Bonnie; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and brother David Carey.

Vivian was an avid bridge player with her White Bear Lake friends.

Memorial Mass was held Thursday (October 2) at 11:30 a.m. at St. Jude Of The Lake Catholic Church, 700 Mahtomedi Avenue. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, North St. Paul. 

Lorraine S. (Holden) Stone, 91

Lorraine (Lornie) Stone passed away peacefully at her home in Laguna Woods, Calif., on Aug. 27, 2014.

Lornie was born on April 3, 1923 in Garvin, Minn., only child to Herman and Sylvia Holden. She attended Tracy High School in Minnesota where she met and married Robert (Bud) Stone who preceded her in death in 1994.

Lornie was a loving wife, mother of three children, grandmother of seven and great grandmother of 13. She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Bob and Linda of Irvine, Calif., Terry and Kathy of Monterey, Calif., and Dean and Mary of Havre, Mont., and Albuquerque, N.M., and her grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with many loving Minnesota family members and friends.

She will be interred at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis beside her husband, Air Force Colonel Robert J. Stone, on Oct. 11, 2014.
