Mary Jo Yungwirth, 76

Mary Jo Yungwirth, age 76, died at Bethel Lutheran Home on August 9, 2015.

She was born on July 13, 1939 at Tracy, MN to Jean Danielson.  She attended school in Tracy and Marshall.  She married James Yungwirth at Redfield, SD in 1959.  She raised a family, helped with the farm and worked various jobs.  She managed the sale barn cafe in Redfield and managed a flower shop.

After divorcing she earned her cosmetology license and worked for the city of Great Falls, Mt in the library.  In 2013, she moved to Madison, SD, residing at Bethel Lutheran Home.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, canning, sewing, reading and working on puzzles. 

She is survived by one daughter - Autumn (Dave) Spletto of Madison, SD and three sons - Joe of Noblesville, IN, Dennis of Sioux Falls, SD and Pat of Chancellor, SD;  8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a half sister.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev Conrad Krahling officiating.  Inurnment wil be in Tracy, MN at a later date.
