Dale Bennett, 78

 

Dale H. Bennett, age 78 of Roseville, died peacefully in his sleep on October 28, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Harold; wife, Lois (Quigley) Bennett; sisters, Dorothy and Grace; and grandson, Nathan Bennett. Survived by wife, Susan (Gibbons) Bennett; sons, Alan, Dean, and Gene (Toni); step-daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy, Erin and April; brothers, Glenn (Louise),  Lawrence (Marion), Verne (Clyda); sister, Ruth Millam; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service 11 a.m. Thursday November 3 at Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave N, 651-631-2727. Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial at Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to TPT and M.A.D.D.  

 

 

Helen Sammons, 89

 

Visitation for Helen Sammons, 89, of Tracy, was held 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at the Life Remembrance Center of Tracy (formerly Almlie Horvath Funeral Home.)  Interment followed the service at the Tracy Cemetery.

Helen Leon (Cowell) Sammons was born on October 22, 1926, on the family farm by Lucan, MN to Harry and Mary (Greenbush) Cowell.  She grew up and attended rural school in Tracy.  Helen worked as a server in a few places including the Railroad Depot, Exchange Hotel and Orve’s Neon Inn.  She enjoyed flowers and gardening, riding her bike, camping and trips to Canada.  She especially enjoyed time spent at Lake Shetek and family gatherings over the fourth of July and Labor Day.  Faith was important to Helen, she served Jehovah for more than 30 years.

Helen died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the Prairie View Senior Living Center in Tracy. 

She is survived by her children Randi (and Terry) Wixon of Brandon, SD, Debbie Shamatt and special friend Curt Dreier of Tracy, Kim Lunda of Bay City, WI, and special friend Norman Baker of Bay City, WI, Jerome Sammons and special friend Susan Miller of Clear Lake, SD, and brother Donald Cowell of Florida, 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, daughters Patty Wetter and Bonnie Irving, two brothers and two sisters.

 

Alexander Wlodkowski, 16

 

Alexander Wlodkowski, age 16, of Amiret, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016, at his home in Amiret. 

Memorial services were held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at the Tracy Alliance Church in Tracy, Minnesota.  Visitation was Monday, October 31, 2016, at Tracy Alliance Church in Tracy, Minnesota. 

Alexander Henry Wlodkowski was born on July 29, 2000 in San Diego, California.  He was the son of Janice (Wheeler) and Adam Wlodkowski.  Alex spent his youth in San Diego before moving to Amiret in 2006.  He attended school in Tracy where he was currently a junior at Tracy Area High School.

Alex was a member of the school’s Chamber Choir and played Saxophone in the band.  He enjoyed his phone, gaming, and spending time with friends.  Alex was a well-mannered kid and he will be remembered for his smile, kindness and willingness to help others.

Alex died suddenly on Friday, October 21, 2016, in Amiret, Minnesota at the age of 16 years, 2 months and 22 days. Blessed be his memory.

Alex is survived by his mother, Janice Wlodkowski (and boyfriend, Paul Cigrand) of Amiret; father, Adam Wlodkowski of St. Paul; brothers, Damon Garrett of Los Angeles, CA, Eric (and Jelaine) Garrett of Ames, IA; niece, Stella Garrett of Ames, IA; nephew, Tom Garrett of Ames, IA; cousin, TJ (and Daron) Loveless and their daughter, Brynna Edwards, of Amiret; many aunts and uncles, other relatives and many friends.

Lao Yang, 75

 

Lao Yang age 75 of Tracy, formerly of Laos, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy surrounded by her family.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home.  Visitation begins at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home.  Burial is in the Tracy Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service - Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lao Yang was born December 18, 1940 in Laos.  She is survived by her husband Nao Her Thao of the United States.
