Sen. Gary Dahms (R-Redwood Falls) has named Marshall businessman Braxton Seifert as his campaign manager for his campaign committee.
Seifert has been a volunteer for the Dahms campaign in the past and brings a lifelong experience of public policy and political experience to the position.
“I’m grateful to Braxton for taking on this important role in my campaign,” Dahms said. “Both Braxton and I have life-long roots in the district.”
Dahms noted that Seifert’s father, former Representative Marty Seifert grew up near Clements, in the heart of Senate District 15 in Redwood County and Seifert’s family has ties all across my district, from their deep 150-year heritage in Brown and Redwood Counties, to Seifert’s own life in Lyon County, in the Marshall area where his personal involvement has been impressive.
Seifert is a Universal Bank and Consumer Loan Officer for Minnwest Bank in Marshall. He has been a member of the Lyon County Republican Board, has taken leading roles and mentorship for the Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities program, actively involved in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and has started multiple business, including Silver Dollar Auction Company and Silver Dollar Property Company.
“I’m looking forward to helping Senator Dahms in every possible way across the district,” Seifert said. “We need to continue to have a strong, experienced voice serving us in the State Senate.”
