fall sports are here!
IT’S MID-AUGUST, WHICH, FOR HIGH SCHOOL student-athletes means early mornings (summer is over for them). Such was the case Monday, when cross country runners pounded the pavement, football players graced the gridiron and volleyball players converged on the court for the first day of fall sports practices. It’s all in preparation for season openers, which are: Aug. 21 (volleyball); Aug. 25 (cross country); and Aug. 28 (football).
