Last Friday’s Tracy Area Medical Foundation’s annual Golf Classic fundraiser finished in a three-way tie. Instead of playing another hole, each team accepted pooling the money and donating their winnings back to the foundation. A total of 20 teams took part in the tournament.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward a $4,600 Scope Buddy and other necessary ancillary equipment to support Sanford Tracy’s new scopes and scope system, so the hopsital can continue to provide screening colonoscopies in Tracy; and a $5,000 digital HD disposable cystoscope system to enhance its urology care and provide patients with the highest standard of care equipment available.
