BEV WELU AND ANNARAE BOWMAN share a special moment Saturday morning during the first event of Milroy Funfest — Melvin’s Cookie & Pop Break. Melvin was Bev’s husband who lost his life in a grain bin incident earlier this summer, and this part of Funfest was one way to honor his daily 9:30 a.m. break form work.
