Jaime Lynn Byers was born on January 14, 1975, in Slayton to Tom Hollingsworth and Jeanette Budahn. She was baptized at Slayton United Methodist Church, confirmed at Tracy First Methodist Church, and graduated from Tracy High School in 1993 before attending Granite Falls Vo-Tech College. On June 27, 1998, Jaime married John Byers at Walnut Grove Methodist Church. Together, they shared 27 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and family. Jaime had a gift for making everyone feel welcome.

She loved playing pool in the Walnut Grove pool league, listening to country music, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, shopping and decorating her home (especially for Halloween and Christmas), happy hour with friends, Sunday breakfasts at Bruisers, and DQ blizzards. She especially cherished side-by-side rides with John, floating with Niki in the pool, and time spent with her grandchildren, whether painting nails, swimming, or simply being together. Family was at the heart of Jaime’s life, and she could always be counted on when someone needed her.

She is survived by her husband John; daughters and their families: Courtnee (Bobby) Ziemke and children Hadynn Jenniges, Skylar, and Bailee Ziemke; Caitlynn (Josh) Mason and children Ellaynna Byers, Claire, and Jane Mason; parents Tom (Jill) Hollingsworth and Jeanette (Bruce) Lerohl; sister Shannon (Brian) Voges and niece Keisha Voges; close friend Niki (Clay) Parker; and many other loved relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her fatherin-law, Bob Byers.

Jaime will be remembered for her kindness, her warm heart, and the love she poured into her family and friends.
