BY ALL ACCOUNTS, THE HELP TUCK THEM IN! BLOCK PARTY at the Eagles Club last Friday was an overwhelming success. All 500 raffle tickets were sold, and the silent auction was a hit as well. “It was a big success, without a doubt,” said Lori Alf, one of the leaders of the bed project. “One person told me it was the nicest silent auction they had seen in a long time. We want to thank everyone who attended and helped us raise money, as well as the Eagles Club.” ABOVE: Mark Peterson was busy at the grill preparing pork burgers (Fultz Farms donated the meat) before the event. Raffle winners were: Julie Petersen (pellet grill); Kent Weedman (Toat soybeans); Warren Dibble (Ladies Weekend in Sioux Falls); Brad Gruhot ($1,000 Food Pride gift certificate); Amanda Johns (Yamaha generator); and Pam Peterson (John Deere air compressor).
