A FEAST WAS SERVED UP LAST WEDNESDAY BY THE LADIES OF LAKE SARAH LUTHERAN CHURCH IN GARVIN at the church’s annual pork BBQ fundraiser, which also included drawings for two quilts made by the quilters. Sharon Haugen (left) provided the meat, which was purchased with the help of Thrivent Financial, and Jane Wahl (right) offered up her world-famous potato salad. Also helping were Wanda Apperson, Leny Becker, Barb Johnson and Kathy Schmidt. Winners of the quilts were Schmidt and Sandy Carlson.
