Springfield Public Elementary students raised more than $40,000 in the annual Tiger Trek Color Run/ Walk recently. The money will be used to improve the quality of education at the school.

Murray County Administrator Carolyn McDonald has been placed on administrative leave. The move was a result of a staff survey sent to commissioners in late August regarding county leadership.

Red Rock Central High School inducted the following members into its hall of fame on Sept. 20: Spencer Jenniges, Miles Pabst, Darci Steer Walsh, Chris Pack, Robert Meyer, Colby Pack, Brent Weber and Ken Baumann, along with the 1972 and 1996 RRC football teams.
