The Murray County Historical Society will be holding their 2025 annual meeting on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Key Largo Ballroom starting at 2 p.m. There will be a short business meeting followed by a presentation by local author and historian Janet Timmerman. Light refreshments will be provided.
She will be speaking on her latest book, “Halcyon Days: Leisure at Lake Shetek.”
