Oct. 23, 1975 —In most situations a player is awarded a game football for his contributions in the team victory, but senior halfback Dave Coyle, who earned the honor in Tracy High School’s 40-7 conquest of Benson here last Wednesday, went home instead with a coach’s shirt. The senior halfback rushed for 82 yards and a score.

Oct. 25, 1995 — Kurt Langer has been chosen to succeed Jim Culhane as the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton baseball coach for the 1996 season. Because of the press of other duties Culhane had made the decision to resign as head baseball coach. He leaves the position after posting an undefeated scheduled season in 1995.

Oct. 26, 2005 — TMB moved to 15-11 with a five-set win over BOLD. Krysta Tholen had 25 set assists, while Emily Miller and Michele Lanoue both had 19. Miller was also 19-of-19 serving, and Jackie Haecherl served 14-of-15 with two aces.

Oct. 28, 2015 — The Panther football team, behind 252 rushing yards, advanced to the Class A State Tournament with a resounding 32-15 win over Adrian in the Section 3A title game.
