NURSING HOME PROTECTION TRUSTS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Long-term care costs can quickly drain a lifetime of savings, but a recent change in Minnesota law has opened the door for families to use Irrevocable Trusts, often called Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts, to safeguard their assets while still qualifying for Medical Assistance. In this workshop, elder law and estate planning attorney, Cassandra Lustfield, will explain how these trusts work, who should consider them, and the important rules to know. CHARCOAL PAINTING WORKSHOP Tracy Area Community Education along with Sammy Jo Miller are offering a Free charcoal painting workshop for adults and ages 12-plus. Join Sammy Jo Miller to explore painting techniques in a fun, supportive environment. All supplies are provided and no experience is necessary. The workshop will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Tracy Public Library starting at 6 p.m.
