Nov. 4, 1965 — Coaches Dale Hatch and Chuck Peterson will start basketball and wrestling drills next Monday afternoon. Hatch’s cagers will play a 17-game schedule, and the wrestlers will be pitted in 13 dual events, plus a pre-holiday invitational meet in Carleton.

Oct. 30, 1975 — Winless Sanborn added an eighth defeat to its season last Friday in falling to Walnut Grove’s Loggers 26-6 at Sanborn. Logger quarterback Curt Parker opened with a 15-yard scoring pass to Dale Bannick — it was Parker’s only completion of the night.
