SIDNEY LINDMARK LISTENS TO JON WENDORFF of the Wheels Across the Prairie Heritage Center at a special event on Saturday. Lindmark’s parents are Oscar and Martha Lindmark; the Howard and Ewen families lived in the Tracy-Currie area back in the late 1880s; the Ewen sisters ran a Millinery shop in Tracy, and there are family members buried in the City cemetery, and in the Pioneer Cemetery and Calvary Cemetery. Rodney Howard was 14 when he was struck by lightning and killed while tending to cows in a pasture north of Currie. David Lindmark passed away in August and left monetary gifts to Currie’s Pioneer Cemetery and End-O-Line Railroad Park.
