The United Way of Southwest Minnesota is dedicated to raising money every year in an effort to give back in the biggest way possible.
This year, a local man is leading that charge.
The UWSWMN this week announced that Tracy’s own Andy Lanoue is spearheading that endeavor as the 2025-26 campaign chair.
“It’s about trying to find ways to help raise the funds to impact all of our local communities with the idea that there’s so many good things that the United Way does to help out the communities in our service area,” said Lanoue, who is in his second year on the UWSWMN Board.
“We want to also make sure that people are aware of the impact the United Way has.”
Lanoue serves as Director of Territory Sales for Ralco and brings a strong commitment to community service and leadership.
This year’s campaign theme, “Raise Your Hand!,” has been touted as a powerful call to action: What inspires you to step up and get involved? Whether it’s caring for others, supporting those in need, or working toward a brighter future, United Way of Southwest Minnesota invites everyone to raise their hand because real change doesn’t happen alone.
Lanoue, who is active in youth sports in Tracy as a coach, chairs the Campaign and Resource Development Committee, a group of dedicated volunteers serving on the UWSWMN Board of Directors. Together, they will shape and implement strategies to reach this year’s fundraising goal of $555,000. Last year, under the leadership of Matt Suby, UWSWMN successfully met its goal of $545,000.
Lanoue said UWSWMN has already reached 20% of its fundraising goal.
Lanoue lives southwest of Tracy with his wife, Connie, and their two children, Gretchen and Calvin.
