Bingo winners this week were Elverne and Wanda.
Tuesday was National Hot Apple Cider Day. In honor of that the residents played “Cider Bingo” got to enjoy hot apple cider.
Wednesday Worship was led by Pastor Thor and Pastor Sahlstrom. Catholic Communion was led by Mary Ann Boerboom.
Thursday, the residents got the honor of spending time with the fifth- and sixth-graders from St. Mary’s School. They read books, worked on crafts, worked on puzzles and colored. Always a treat when they get to spend time with the students. Thursday afternoon, they gathered for a little game of kickball.
Friday, we gathered the residents in the day room for a movie and popcorn.
Saturday morning was another fun game of Bingo. A special thank you to the St. Mary’s students and Ms. Labat for taking time out of their morning and spending time with the residents. It is truly a special time for them.
