Prairie View News

Bingo winners this week were Alice and Vida.

Monday was our usual day of Bingo in the afternoon. Tuesday, the resident got to learn a new game, Dumpster Dice. Pretty sure that is going to become a new favorite.

Wednesday Worship was led by Pastor Miron, and Catholic Communion was led by Jan Griffith. Wednesday afternoon, the residents worked on there first Christmas craft called “Shades of Christmas.” They took different shades of green paint swatches and made Christmas trees to hang in their room or on their door. It was so much fun.

Thursday, the residents gathered in the day room and we played word phrase. You take a phrase and come up with as many words as you can using the letters in that phrase. Another classic favorite they enjoy playing.

On Friday morning, the men got together for men’s group and some of the ladies gathered for “Come Crochet With Me.” In the afternoon they played the Wrapped gift dice game. One gift is wrapped several times. Could be 2 times could be 6 times. One never knows. You must roll doubles to get a chance to unwrap a layer. The one who unwraps the actual gift gets to keep it. We usual have five gifts to play with all wrapped different amounts.

Saturday was another Bingo Day.
