Health care-less
We have to destroy it to save it? The personal vendetta against the Affordable Care Act by the Trump Administration is not that it does not work and make health care for millions affordable. The problem is it was created by the Obama Administration. It was not perfect but it worked and Trump did not get credit for it. Sounds silly? No. Not silly and Trump is not sorry.
The Trump plan is simply to put so many roadblocks and changes to the ACA that he strangles it to death and millions of Americans along with it. RFK’s job has been to sow mistrust and destroy credible health information in the name of efficiency.
This bull-in-the-chinashop approach has eroded confidence, quality and increased costs. Short term promises of direct cash and pulling the tax credits will result in many not taking any insurance creating a “death spiral” that closes your small hospitals and clinics while raising costs until only funeral homes benefit.
Why didn’t Democrats hold off for continued tax credits for health care? Did they hope Trump would negotiate instead of playing golf and holding lavish parties? Did they hope that the Republican led House would return to negotiate so that Thanksgiving and Christmas would have some joy rather than hungry children, angry travelers and anguish over paying for necessities in the face of 26% or more skyrocketing health care costs? Some may even ask a deeper question. Why are we such an unhealthy country compared to other wealthy nations?
Words and empty promises create false hope while the costs zoom higher than an exploding Musk rocket. A flashy announcement about cheap drug costs with vague promises of soon but only for certain people and only for certain drugs and why will Trump, personally get a percentage of it?
Maybe we will see an honest reconsidering of ACA as promised but don’t hold your breath. Words and promises have become worthless and riddled with retractions.
Will you have to sign a loyalty oath to get your maybe cheaper meds from TrumpRX? What will really be in those medications? Possibly the Epstein Files in pill form?
Ask your reps what their health insurance actually costs!
