The Panther boys overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to force overtime before falling 71-69 to Renville County West in a clash between the top two teams in the Camden Conference clash Tuesday.
TMB outscored the Jaguars 35-26 in the second half, but were outscored 8-6 in the extra frame.
Connor Lanoue led TMB with 19 points, nine assists and six rebounds; Griffin Zick scored 18 points and had seven assists and six steals; and Jackson Kruse added 10 points on 5-for-6 shooting.
The Panther B-squad team also suffered a heartbreaker, 5251 after holding a 20-point halftime advantage. Kruse had 17 points, and Braden Morgan and Parker Kline each netted 10.
The Panthers (6-8, 4-4) are at LQPV today (Jan. 21) and host MACCRAY on Monday.
