
Raymon Harold Randall, age 84 of Tracy, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services were Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home, Tracy. Interment was in Tracy City Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice. com. Raymon Harold Randall was born on April 8, 1941, to Harold and Anna Lou (Aufderhar) Randall in St. Peter, Minnesota. He graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1959 and continued his education at Iowa State University, where he was a member of the Adelante Fraternity. Raymon earned a degree in agriculture from ISU. Raymon married Joan Will and they were blessed with four children. They later went their separate ways. Ray farmed for several years before the family moved to Salem, South Dakota, where he began a career selling farm equipment. He later returned to Minnesota and settled in Slayton, continuing his work in farm equipment sales. In 1989, Raymon married Janet Verdeck. The couple eventually retired to an acreage south of Tracy, Minnesota. In retirement, Ray stayed active driving school bus and enjoyed finding and restoring Minneapolis-Moline equipment. He was a proud member of the Minnesota Plowing Association and greatly enjoyed participating in plowing competitions. Ray was also a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge in Slayton, where he devoted much of his time and service.
Raymon is survived by his wife Janet; children: Anthony (LaVonne) Randall of Hartford, SD, Timothy Randall of Chamberlain, SD, Thomas (Robyn) Randall of Salem, SD, & Terri Jo (Scott) Huber of Tea, SD; Jamie Verdeck of Tracy, Robert Verdeck of Marshall, Vee (John) Diebel of Augusta, MT, & Chris (Cindy) Verdeck of Burlington, NC; 15 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; brother, Arlee (Betty) Randall of Owatonna, MN; and former wife Joan Berg of Sioux Falls. He is preceded in death by his parents.
