Tracy Chamber ready for a big bash

The 2026 Tracy Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet — a night that honors those who make a difference in the community — is this Saturday.

The fun begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. at The Caboose, followed by dinner and awards (Boss of the Year, Chamber Member of the Year, Outstanding Citizen, Volunteer of the Year and Farmer of the Year). The Diamond Award will also be presented to a group that works to improve the lives of others.

“That’s one of the big ones,” said Chamber member Kim Torkelson. “This award is chosen by our Chamber board and is given to a group or organization that has gone above and beyond in their activities for the community over the past year or years. It’ll be exciting to see who the winners are this year.” The other awards are voted on by a committee of past winners in each category. The nomintation period is November through December.

The night includes a silent auction, as well as a new cash raffle. Tickets for the latter are $10 for a chance to win either $750, $500 or $250 and can be purchased from any Chamber board member or at Tracy Food Pride.

Names of the winners will be drawn at the banquet.

Tickets for the banquet can be bought at Food Pride or Minnwest Bank — they are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

Entertainment will once again be provided by the Singing Q’s — Quentin Brunsvold and Quinn Horvath.

“They always put on a fun musical show — it’s nice to have that local talent there,” Torkelson said.
