Melaina Ankrum scored 20 points, and had seven assists and seven steals, and Gretchen Lanoue had 13 points, seven assists and four steals in a 66-61 loss to Springfield in the Panthers’ regular season finalé on Monday.
Allie Adams added 10 points, and Alli Dolan scored six. Lauren Knakmuhs and Elsie Knott both netted five points in the loss.
The Panthers (8-18, 5-11) will host Southwest Christian in a Sub-Section 3A play-in game at 7 p.m. today (Feb. 19). The winner will play in the Sub-section South semifinals at 11 a.m. Saturday in Worthington.

Gretchen Lanoue led the way in the scoring column with 21 points. Alli Dolan had 15 and Melaina Ankrum 10. Ankrum also had eight rebounds, eight assists and four steals, and Elsie Knott had a solid game as well with nine points and 13 boards.
