Krist Wollum announced last week that he is pulling out of the race for the Senate District 21 and instead will run for the House seat in District 21A.
With current events of Joe Schomacker announcing his intent to not run for re-election, I would like to announce my intention to run for the House of Representatives District 21A seat.” Wollum said in a news release. “Mr. Schomacker did an amazing job representing his district for 16 years and I would hope to continue his values and leadership if elected.
Wollum lives on a family farm outside of Porter in Lincoln County. He has been actively involved in the community for many years, serving as president of the local Jaycees Chapter that helps the youth in the surrounding communities. He is also involved with the Midwest Cattlemen’s Association, serving on the board of directors and as their president. He is an active member of the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association where he served as president in 2017 and 2018.
Wollum said veteran policy is important to him because of the sacrifices men and women have made for so much of their lives.
