The DNR urges fish house owners to plan for shelter removal, as recent warm weather has deteriorated many public water accesses in the central and southern parts of Minnesota and prompted thin-ice warnings. Many fish house owners have already removed their shelters from the ice.
The upcoming statutory removal deadline for this region is 11:59 p.m. on March 2.
