GOD OF WAR is a popular video game series with ten installments since 2005. It is a continuing Old Testament to our fascination with violence. In WWII, 50 million civilians were killed compared with 20 million combatants. Tactics ‘improved’ and removed people from tasting the carnage they execute through remote X-Box game mentality. How does an “AI enhanced, precision strike” explode a school killing 150 girls ages 7-12? The cold rationale is that they might someday have children or become radical terrorists so best to eliminate defenseless targets now. When you see images of a man, a father, holding up mangled body parts and screaming why in a language I do not know but still understand, do you accept this desecration of life as normal?
Iran existed under monarchs for 2500 years. In the twentieth century, Iran was subjected to regime changes due to its strategic location and economic exploitation by Russia, England, Israel and the US. In 1979, US hostages were taken in Iran during the Carter Presidency. Both Democrat and Republican administrations severely targeted Iran with sanctions. Trump increased sanctions that mostly ended humanitarian aid to the country and increased militants resolve to fight. After “obliterating” Iran’s nuclear program in 2025, Trump encouraged Iranian protesters in January to “take over their country. Help is on the way.” People marched. No help arrived. 20,000 were killed.
In the middle of negotiations, Trump invaded Iran. No coherent plan and low on ammo. Killing one leader created a martyr but did not change the government. To save the country, we have to destroy it ... Mothers, children, grandpas and aunties dead because they’re near a possible target.
Trump and Vance said no wars. Total liars. Trumps words were not reassuring, “... we’re doing this not for now. We’re doing this for the future.” I ask, “Whose future? What future?”
This war is a clear violation of the Constitution more serious than stonewalling Epstein Files, violations of the emolument clause, wholesale firing of federal workers without cause and even ICE occupations disregarding judges orders violating Amendments 1, 4, 5 and 10 of the Constitution.
WHY? Destroy Iran’s non-existent nuclear capability? Regime Change with no plan? Oil or a new resort? Divert attention from Epstein files, health care, AI, billionaire money grabbing or taking responsibility for ICE Vigilantes or the effort to rig the midterms? COLLATERAL DAMAGE. ACCEPTABLE LOSSES. Soft words for murdering mom’s and dad’s and children. Is Democracy an acceptable loss?
