Prairie View News

Residents at Prairie View Senior Living enjoyed another week filled with activity, laughter, and creativity.

The week began Monday afternoon with a traditional game of Bingo, always a favorite among residents and a wonderful way to kick off the week.

Tuesday brought a special change of pace as some residents had the opportunity to get out, enjoy the beautiful weather, and do a little shopping of their own.

For those who remained at Prairie View, the warm sunshine offered the perfect chance to sit outside, visit with friends, and soak up one of the first truly nice spring days. After so much cold weather, it was a refreshing and welcome change for everyone.

Wednesday morning, residents gathered for spiritual encouragement as chapel was led by Pastor Swanson and Catholic Mass was led by Father Andy. In the afternoon, the energy picked up with a lively game of Noodle Hockey. Pool noodles were swinging, residents and staff were cheering, and the room was filled with excitement and laughter. This new game made its debut at Prairie View and quickly proved to be a big hit.

The fun continued Thursday morning with a spirited game of table ball. Later that afternoon, residents put their creativity to work during a mosaic craft session. The activity resulted in some truly beautiful artwork and gave everyone a chance to express themselves in a unique way.

On Friday afternoon, residents enjoyed a friendly game of pingpong before wrapping up the week on Saturday with another relaxing and enjoyable round of traditional Bingo.

It was a week full of sunshine, smiles, movement, and creativity at Prairie View Senior Living.

This week’s Bingo winners were Agnes and Bev.
