Tamera ‘Tamie’ McFarlin & Donald ‘Boo’ McFarlin


Donald “Boo” Allen McFarlin, age 59, of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, formerly of Coalinga, California, passed away on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at Ava’s House Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD, and Tamera “Tamie” Lynne (Parker) McFarlin, age 63, of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, formerly of Coalinga, California, passed away on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. Services will be held at a later date in Coalinga, California.

Donald Allen McFarlin was born July 13th, 1966, to Cecil and Carolyn (Robinett) McFarlin in Fall River Mills, California. He graduated from Coalinga High School and continued his education at West Hills College, also in Coalinga. Donald met the love of his life, Tamera Parker, and the two were joined in marriage on February 23rd, 1991. From this union, the couple was blessed with two children, Troy and McKenna. Boo spent his time fishing, watching football and motocross, camping, and riding motorcycles. He found great enjoyment and friendships while playing softball with the Coalinga Buzz Bombers team.
Donald is survived by his wife Tamera; children, Troy (Rebecca) McFarlin & McKenna McFarlin; mother Carolyn; grandpuppy Jewel; brothers: Rick McFarlin, Gerald (Tot) McFarlin, & Bobby McFarlin. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil McFarlin.
Tamera Lynne (Parker) McFarlin was born on November 25, 1962, to Jack and Ruth (Eastman) Parker in Twentynine Palms, California. Tamie graduated from McLane High School in Fresno, California, and continued her education at San Jose Bible College. Tamera and Donald “Boo” McFarlin were joined in marriage on February 23rd, 1991, and from this union were blessed with two children, Troy and McKenna. Tamie loved art of all kinds; including journaling, doodling, and painting with any medium. She also enjoyed gardening and expanding her knowledge.
Tamie is survived by her children, Troy (Rebecca) McFarlin & McKenna McFarlin; mother-inlaw, Carolyn McFarlin; grandpuppy Jewel; and sister Pam (Kim) Parker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Ruth Parker and her husband, Donald.
